Tje Center Square) – Voters are closely divided over President Donald Trump’s wave of executive orders he signed during his first two months in office, according to a new poll.

A plurality of voters, 47%, say the orders have been about right (30%) or haven’t gone far enough (17%), while 44% say they have gone too far.

That’s according to a Napolitan News Service poll of 1,000 registered voters conducted March 12-13 by pollster Scott Rasmussen.

Of those surveyed, 79% of Democrats say they have gone too far while 75% of Republicans disagree.

A majority of voters, 62%, say Congress should have the right to review a president’s executive order within 90 days to determine whether they should stand. That’s compared to 21% who disagree and 18% who say they are not.

The margin of error for the full sample is +/- 3.1 percentage points.
