Rep. Ben Cline, R-Va., expressed concerns over recent energy regulations issued by the Biden administration, saying that they place a financial burden on hard-working Americans.
Cline pointed out policies such as a rule from December that extends dishwasher cycle times as well as an EPA regulation that raises air conditioning repair costs. He warned that these measures could make essential household appliances unaffordable for many.
“These regulations make it harder for hardworking men and women to afford necessities like dishwashers, air conditioners, and gas-powered water heaters,” Cline said. “Congress must act swiftly to protect those struggling to make ends meet.”
